We began this series of Béla Tarr films to honor his long-time collaborator László Krasznahorkai as 2025’s recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Heartbroken. We will screen the remainder of the series in celebration and remembrance of Béla Tarr. Our hearts are with Ágnes Hranitzky, Béla’s long-time collaborator and spouse, and László and all of his family and friends and admirers.

Under these circumstances I cannot coerce myself to sell you on attending this screening. If you are in doubt whether this film is for you, take a few moments to look it up.
