Director Maria Eriksson-Hecht has previously worked on TV series such as “The Thin Blue Line” and “Thunder in my heart”. Now she makes her feature film debut with a youth story about two brothers who, due to the betrayal of the adult world, are completely oblivious to each other.

Alex has always seen it as his job to keep order in his impulsive little brother Robin and his violent and abusive war veteran father. He has barely reflected on what Alex himself wants or needs until he meets Ines. She gives Alex a glimpse of all that he has given up: love, intimacy, teenage life. But when Alex lets go of his family for a moment, it soon leaves little brother Robin in free fall. Where Alex, with the help of love, opens a crack in the Kevlar around his soul, Robin will let it harden even more in the violent environment he is drawn into.
